A couple of months back my wife called me to watch a new program called “DOOMS DAY PREPPERS.”  All she said was just watch it then lets talk, well talk we did.

We have been prepping for over 3 years, my wife is really great at finding wholesale web pages to purchase dry goods in bulk.  She even put together a book (very nice one indeed) for beginners on long-term/short-term storage.  We sold the booklet for $12.95, most profit was just for the printing cost, and the remaining we put into our church’s food bank to help stock the shelves to help feed the hungry.   We then taught a class of 50 about prepping, and from there many are now new preppers.

After watching the show with Kellene my wife looked at me and said “it is really time to get serious.”  We now have a prepping group started, we meet the first Saturday of each month at our home.  Word has gotten out and now we are looking into a larger place for everyone to meet.  It really is important to teach the “right way” to prep for long-term.  Meeting new people and butting heads together and passing on new outlets is a win-win situation.

All I can really say is “A FAMILY THAT PREPS TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER.”
