For years I have had the fear of something happening and thought maybe I was alone in these thoughts until recently. I have been a closet food hoarder for several years but every Christmas I would box it up and donate it to a needy family. I was ashamed to tell anyone, even my husband until we saw Kellene. She gave me the courage to talk to my husband about my fears, and to my surprise, he is on board with prepping! I have since talked to my brother, uncle and a neighbor about prepping and have them on board also. I have started my stock pile of supplies and food in a secret location.
The peace of mind that prepping brings for my family is priceless. I realize this will be a lifestyle change but worth it. Instead of buying a new pair of shoes or purse every payday I now buy prepping supplies. We are currently looking for a house in the country, outside of the city, so that we can have a garden and animals which is very important in replenishing stockpiling.
Prepping is more that a few extra cans of food or a gun; it is constant planning and prepping. It is not the chore that I dread; it is the dream of keeping my family alive.
Praise the Lord to the life he has given me and the knowledge that He has given.

Love it! So many have such a negative view that it’s great to see prepping looked at as a positive.
