“What If…?” RFID: A Case for Financial Preparedness

In Revelations chapter 13 verses 16 and 17 it says:

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

RFIDWhile there has been much speculation as to whether or not this prophecy of the last days has already come to pass with the use of UPC codes, I believe all prophecies will be fulfilled quite literally as they have so many times thus far. I recently found myself exploring a question in consideration of this prophesy as well as the substantial information available about the reality of RFID chips

(small microscopic chips that are planted under your skin, or your pets’.) As you know, we are already moving away from a cash society. Plastic is treated with less suspicion and safety than a $20 dollar bill. (If you don’t believe me, see how fast a $20 transaction goes through on your debit or credit card at the grocery store compared to a $20 bill that has to be inked with a special pen and then double checked for its authenticity.) So what IF instead of debit or credit cards—the traditional electronic way of conducting transactions—we were required instead to use RFID chips implanted in our right hands or our foreheads (for those who perhaps didn’t have a right hand)? What if cash or an RFID was king?

Just what is it about these RFID chips?

I don’t know about you, but I assure you I wouldn’t allow anything foreign to be put into my body…not a vaccination or an RFID chip. On the other hand (no pun intended) if this scenario were to come to pass, I can just see the media’s puppets talking about how “convenient, safe, and environmentally friendly” such a requirement would be “for the good of the people”; how it was the only way to eliminate identity theft and illegal immigration, etc. I’m sure that if such a thing were to happen that the glossy, rose-colored side of the story is what would be fed to all who will listen. As usual there would also be some disaster which we’d all be told we can avert if we’re only willing to give up this little bit of freedom and privacy.

RFIDWhat if the RFID was a requirement in order to get Medicare or Medicaid? What if it was required in order to be legally employed or to receive social security benefits? The consequences would demand that any unwilling RFID recipient be confined to conduct all of their business with cash or barterable goods in order to live and pay their bills.

RFID Forced?

I can tell ya that a cash only world is a pain. Two weeks ago my husband and I abdicated all plastic transactions. It was more of a challenge than a final destination. Considering that we were traveling out of town for Thanksgiving, it was quite the hassle. I kept finding myself saying “oh, I can’t do that. I can’t use my debit card.” From this experience I’ve realized that an electronic/communication collapse or being truly FORCED into a cash-only basis would certainly be a hardship on most people. And that’s just the transactional aspect of this scenario. Consider what would happen if you had any debts you couldn’t possibly pay by mailing in a cash payment, such as a mortgage payment? If this scenario meant that we couldn’t take employment from someone else without such an intrusion on our bodies, we would have to be self-employed and have to require to be paid in cash or goods. That’s great for incoming compensation, but what about paying bills? Unless your mortgage and other bills are paid off, you’re going to find that to be a disastrous scenario with unrelenting consequences. This would also mean that those who would refuse an RFID implant would need marketable skills to survive.

RFIDI don’t know what this does to your thought processes, but to me, this motivated me to pursue my cash-only restriction as much as possible for the sake of creating a new habit. It also caused me to realize that what I have on hand may indeed be my only saving grace someday. I consider this scenario and find myself mentally checking things off. “Ok. I can eat. I can have heat and light. I can cook. I can handle any non-life threatening medical crisis etc.” My biggest resolve from mentally exploring this scenario was to be COMPLETELY out of debt, including my home, while I still have that freedom.

I realize this may sound a bit overwhelming to some. To others it may be hard to take even remotely seriously and still to others they may feel like they just stumbled on the latest science fiction blog. But as I always say, prepare for the worst and then pray for the best. It’s the best way to be truly self-sufficient and prepared.

Just wondering... do you think believers will even be affected by the Mark? I hadn't given this much thought before, but just read some comments about this passage reading like it's not going to be something that is voluntary, but rather that everyone WILL get it. Now that I'm reading it and seeing this coming like it does in the middle of a scenario of God's wrath being unleashed, I wonder if we will already be gone.

Personally I feel that all persons will be affected one way or the other. They will have to make a conscious decision as to whether or not they take on the mark.

Do you think that after chips take over cash will still be accepted? Honestly if everything can be handled by chips, then why even have cash? There would be no way to particpate in commerce without having it.

Just saying that when that happens there is only two choices. Get the chip or fight.

Kellene,

I really don't like this post - way too unfriendly sounding in the future. But it is certainly something to be considered and prepared for as much as possible. I agree that it will take mental preparation in addition to temporal. But perhaps most importantly will be the need to be spiritually prepared. When we are living our lives in such a way that we are able to receive promptings of the Spirit we will be best prepared to seek answers as to what we should do regarding various situations. Consideration of the long term consequences is critical for us to understand, whether long term is in length of time in this realm or in eternity.

As a disabled vet this is one thing that really concerns me. I am getting both SSD and vet's benefits (100% disabled). I hate being at the mercy of the "Government". I do hope for 1 more year to get prepped. I have a plan for all that I can think can happen but I need time. I live about $10.00 per month above "poverty level". Not complaining I have a good life. Just a bit frightened of where the country is going. I will do the best I can and let God take care of the rest.
For Todd, The US Government is really pushing "ATM" cards and Direct deposit. I know it's cheaper to do stuff electronically rather than print paper checks. What they control is going all to plastic, can RFID's be far behind? Food stamps and WIC used to be coupons. Now that's all plastic money. Have you seen your taxes go down because of all efficiency?

If the government wants me to have a chip, it must be a bad idea. I do not want any part of it. They will be able to track my every move. Seems to me we give away our freedom with the chip. I won't be hip and get a chip.

Not only will the government be able to track your every move, and your identity, so will anyone else with a digital radio receiver. You can buy those at Radio Shack and walk around getting personal info out of the air already.

I want to share something with all of you. I had a dream some years ago, in which we were living in a community of saints, and it appeared to be a rural community as we were surrounded by fields, yet the time was the future. I was standing with someone else watching a stranger approach down the road towards us. As he reached us he held out his hand toward us and he had notes (money) in it. he asked if he could buy food form us and I remember saying that his money was of no use to us as we bartered our goods for everything we needed. I thought at the time I had the dream that I was perhaps being paranoid in thinking so much about preparation for the future, but , reading your post today, it looks like I was just anticipating the future. Thanks for making me feel like I am not nuts, just careful.

I have thought about this same scenario for quite some time now. I pretty well figure they’ve got it set to where one way or another we can all be tracked. It’s best to learn how to hide in plain site. I know they’re herding us towards a cashless society and I know bartering and trading can go a long way towards a work around that, but what do we do when they go to the chip or mark system and that’s the only method accepted to pay our property taxes with?

It may be different for some of you than for me, but if I don’t for any reason pay my taxes yearly my home will be taken and sold for tax purposes. I doubt any future government will allow any form of barter or trade. If they’ve gone along with the chip only for transaction scheme no amount of sliver or gold will allow me to pay those taxes without the chip, which I will absolutely refuse. It’s the stumbling block to my long term planning that I haven’t found a way over, around or through yet. My home is my survival base, without it my chances drop drastically.

two things...One you can pay your taxes ahead of time. You may not be spot on, but you can be ahead of time and take some peace of mind in doing so. Also, I may not have made myself clear, but I believe in this "what if" scenario that it will be that those who arent' chipped may still have the option of cash. There would be a more serious crisis to the rest of the economic world if our nation were to eliminate our cash altogether. Still mentally soaking on this topic too like you are though.

Hi,

I recently began reading your website and really learn a lot. You commented that you would not allow a chip to be implanted into your body. Well, I am of the same mentality BUT---chips can be implanted without our knowledge or consent. I know, I have one. Within the past 4 months I had to have needle breast biopsies done. Upon the doctor's completion of the biopsy I was informed by the nurse that I would be getting a second mammography and that a chip had been inserted into my breast during the biopsy. The purpose of this chip is supposed to be a permanent marker so that in the future tests that show something "odd" in the area where the biopsy was done will be marked and the medical provider will know that is where tissue was removed from. Needless to say, I was completely shocked as none of the consent paperwork I completed indicated a chip would be implanted. Even when we get shots and other "routine" procedures, can we really be sure what is going into our bodies? I thought I was a well informed person, but that experience was a shocker to say the least.

Marilyn, Your comment angered me quite a bit. The defiant one in me says "law suit" but I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on TV. :-) I appreciate you sharing this information with us.

Kellene,

because I am active duty military we cannot sue the government. Actually, we are considered "government property". Thanks for your empathy though.

My son was in the Navy and durinig bootcamp and the medical stuff that they have to go through he thought that he had been implanted with a chip because of the reaction of his skin. Is this possible? Would there be anywhere or anyone to ask about this? This is something that I've thought about for a long time now.

Nancy, I simply am not sure. It's awful to think that something like that could happen, but unfortunately, I'm past the point of trusting them to do the right thing in so many cases. I wish I had a way to tell you how to find out, but I don't. I'll ask my hubby and see what he thinks.
