The Facts About Fish Antibiotics

fish antibioticsI’ve received a LOT of questions lately as to the notion of using fish antibiotics (fish mox) for human use as well as livestock antibiotics and other livestock medicine for human use—of course not for everyday, but certainly in an effort to be medically self-reliant if an “end of the world as we know it” scenario occurs. (Yes, there actually are other euphemisms to describe a crisis other than “when the *bleep* hits the fan.” *grin*) Well, the short answer to these queries is NO, livestock medicines are not fit for human use and YES, fish antibiotics certainly are acceptable for human use. So…go fish.

Sounding the Alarm for Medical Independence

It’s always a sad day when we hear on the news about more of our soldiers dying overseas in a war that many of us struggle to understand. Whether it’s one soldier or a dozen who sacrificed their life for their beliefs and the security of this nation, I believe it’s newsworthy. Fortunately the mainstream media feels that way as well.  But medicalwhat shocks me is when we have 139,000 deaths of our fellow Americans—caused by an FDA approved drug that no one finds even remotely as newsworthy, even though such deaths are more than forty-six times the number of soldiers who died in Iraq. These poor people certainly did not die for so lofty a cause of freedom or protection; rather these deaths resulted because a patient followed their doctor’s recommendation to take a particular medication which was marketed as reducing the risk of heart disease.

All Hail the AMA

Today’s article comes to us courtesy of a reader who took such great exception to my article from yesterday.  I have never taken this type of approach previously, however, I feel that it’s important to do so in this case so that there be no disillusion as to what this year has in store with Preparedness Pro. The post yesterday was as follows, with an anonymous name and non-working e-mail address (kind of funny when you think about that aspect actually because anonymity is the ideal characteristic of someone who’s attempting to do something in secret, don’t ya think?)

Finally, Some Medical Help That NEVER Lets Me Down!

I have been studying and using (intermittently) essential oils for over a decade.  My problem was though that I never found a brand/line that performed perfectly and consistently. Essential oils are not intended to be a “cure all” but I firmly believe that the body itself is a cure all if given the proper tools AND enough time. And my ten+ years of study showed me that essential oils SHOULD be an ideal tool to help the body, but I kept getting met with disappointment. Why? Well, in part because the governmental initials have once again done for us what was in the best interest of Big Business, not our bodies. They permit any essential oil that comes from the U.S. companies to be labeled as “pure” if there is only 2% of pure essential oils inside–and by the way, that’s ANY essential oil inside.

Time for a Paradigm Shift on Medical Independence Part I

Medical Independence!

In over 100 years of “research” on “curing cancer”, and after spending an average of $50 billion a year for the last 10 years on this research, the only FDA approved methods we have for battling cancer is surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy—two of those solutions are actually carcinogenic.  Even worse, there are a litany of scientific studies published which conclude that chemo and radiation do very little to prolong life, let alone a quality life.

Over 75 years, and a research budget of over 5 billion dollars a year for the last 5 years, and we still don’t have a full understanding and successful treatment of diabetes.  People are dying every minute in this nation from “symptoms” of diabetes.

Essential Oils 101

Essential oils are heavenly in a warm bath

So, what is all of this stuff  and hooey about essential oils? Are they just another quack medicine? Do they really serve any real purpose? How in the world do you decide which fluffy named oil to purchase? Do I choose the one named “My Life” or “Love Life”? How do you use it?  What are the side effects?  Can you overdose on it? Will it stain my clothes? Can I use them on my cat named Fluffy who’s stresses out every time I leave the house? Is it addictive? (more…)
